Food Security of Russia and the World: The Theory and Methodology of Research, Procuring Analysis, Opportunities and Threats

The theoretical and methodological background of integrated research for supporting food security is worked out. The systematical toolset and the informational dataset of other research works regarding the topic of food security are developed. The situation analysis of tendencies, achievements, risks and threats in food security of Russia and other EurAsEC countries is carried out. The research contains analysis of USA and Brazil experience of helping food insecure and poor people, which can be helpful for Russian policy. The authors present their results regarding the consequences of Russia’s joining the WTO using AGLINK-COSIMO model. The projections for the possible growth of several food markets of Russia until 2030 are given.
