Information for food security
The Centre’s activities in the area of information management for food security are aimed at the complex tasks of collecting and disseminating information resources on food security and training specialists from the Eurasian region. The main objective of the work in this area is to enhance the scientific capacity and professional skills of specialists in agriculture and food security.
In order to achieve the objectives of information management, a wide-ranging information portal integrating interactive services, including web databases, electronic maps and GIS applications, and a library of electronic resources for food security, is being developed, These are the basis for the provision of advisory services and the dissemination of research and good practices.
