The World Bank and the Eurasian Center for Food Security continue to accept applications for the fifth round of Food Policy Case Studies contest and invite you to connect and participate in the online Q&A session that we plan on holding on May 25 at 15:00 (Moscow time). The purpose is to provide more information about the selection criteria and give directions on how to to prepare a good proposal, as well as to answer any other questions related to the application process.

We are reminding that proposals for case studies are invited on various topics that address the impact of COVID-19 crisis on food and nutrition security in the Eurasian region.

The objective of the call for proposals is to:

 - generate policy-relevant evidence and identify policy options to alleviate the food and nutrition security impacts of the COVID-19 crisis, and
- foster collaboration between researchers in the Eurasia region in the area of food security and food policy research.

This call is open to researchers, lecturers and professors from Armenia, the Kyrgyz Republic, Russia, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan with an active research agenda in food and nutrition security.

Applications are accepted until May 31, 2020.

Knowledge of English and/or Russian language is a requirement. Collaboration between researchers in two or more countries is highly encouraged.
